Environment Policy

 

As a manufacturing, engineering, and trading company, JCMARVEL ENGINEERING AND TRADING LLP (hereinafter referred to as JCMARVEL ) is committed to operating its business in a responsible, environmentally safe and sustainable manner. It is the goal of JCMARVEL environmental policy to closely monitor all our supply chain activities and production processes to minimize, control, and wherever possible, to eliminate any adverse impact to the environments in which we operate.


JCMARVEL environmental policy is established and implemented as a mandatory part of our business. The requirements of our environmental policy are clearly communicated with all levels of our employees and with our stake holders, alliance partners, business associates, contractors, and sub-contractors with the intent to spread awareness on company’s environmental initiatives, mandatory compliance requirements, and to receive their best efforts and cooperation in realizing the objectives of this environmental policy.


Primary objectives of our Environmental Policy are:

  1. To assess significant environmental impacts of all our operations and to maintain a functioning environmental management system at our plant and construction sites.
  2. To incorporate environmental considerations at the core of all decision-making processes while planning expansions, new equipment acquisitions, establishing new products or project sites.
  3. To set benchmarks for compliance with environment laws, industry regulations, and governing standards, and to monitor and measure performance against these bench marks on a periodic basis.
  4. To evaluate performance against the set environmental benchmarks for our operations, to identify areas for improvement and/or to implement corrective action in the event of any adverse deviation.
  5. To maintain traceable records of all environment monitoring initiatives and to track effectiveness of environmental performance improvement measures undertaken.
  6. To conduct periodic internal audits on environmental compliance measures and to conduct periodic review meetings to proactively identify new ways to further enhance environmental compliance levels.

An environment committee constituted by the management shall be responsible for the implementation of this environmental policy in full accordance with all statutory and industry specific regulations and laws.
