As a manufacturing, engineering, and trading company, JCMARVEL Engineering and Trading LLP (hereinafter referred to as JCMARVEL), is totally committed to protecting the Health and Safety of its Employees, Business Units, Contractors, Business Associates, Clients, and the communities in which we serve to prevent loss of human life, to protect against injury and to prevent damage/destruction to property, equipment, and materials at its worksites, and work for the conservation of environment in accordance with JCMARVEL Environment Policy.


As we consider the Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects as an integral part of our business processes and operations, we shall work for compliance with all applicable Statutory regulations, and to achieve this JCMARVEL has established and implemented an effective ‘Health and Safety Program’ intended to create a safe working environment.


Within the framework of this Health and Safety Program, we remain committed to a strategy of creating awareness for key objectives for Health and Safety of our Employees, Business Units, Contractors, Business Associates, Clients, and the communities in which we serve. We also remain committed to regularly review the implementation of Health and Safety Program, and to measure its effectiveness.


Key objectives of our Health and Safety program are:

  1. To ensure safety of operations at our manufacturing, fabrication/yard facilities, and project sites.
  2. To establish and maintain our reputation for safe execution of our projects and services.
  3. To educate Health and Safety of its Employees, Business Units, Contractors, Business Associates, Client representatives, and the communities in which we serve, to be mindful of their own safety and for their actions that may affect the safety of others.
  4. Adopting technologies and practices that minimizes any adverse impact on health and safety during executions of company operations, wherever feasible.
  5. JCMARVEL shall support the realization of Health and Safety objectives through:
    1. Continuous improvement to minimize workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, and any adverse work conditions.
    2. Training and educating employees, contractors, and vendors on Safe and Unsafe acts, adoption of best practices, and sharing of experiences.
    3. Encouraging employee participation and motivating Health and Safety efforts of our Employees, Business Units, Contractors, Business Associates, and the communities in which we serve.
    4. Developing excellent values and attitudes towards Health and Safety of our Employees, Business Units, Contractors, Business Associates, and the communities in which we serve, by tracking Health and Safety performance.
    5. Allocation of clear roles and responsibilities at all levels, and conducting periodic review and recognizing Health and Safety achievers.
    6. Assignment adequate resources depending on nature of work.
    7. Conducting workshops and creating required forums for deliberations on Health and Safety issues.
    8. Periodically audit work procedures and business processes, and promptly correcting any deficiencies.


All our Employees, Business Units, Contractors, Business Associates, shall be held responsible for the implementation of this Health and Safety policy, as applicable to their activities and they are responsible for complying with set program objectives during all stages of work affected by their activities.


The deputed Safety Officer shall periodically audit the implementation of this Health and Safety Program, and shall be vested with sufficient authority to secure corrective action.
